The Manìn Mini Gardener Vest is crafted with the very same care, fabrics and construction as the adult Manìn Gardener Vest, because true beauty and quality should belong to children too. Unisex and gently oversized, it is made in Italy from deep green loden wool, warm, soft and wonderfully resistant. Inside, the vest is lined in Liberty Queen Hera in rich green tones, an iconic floral motif that adds a secret layer of poetry close to the heart.
Born from the Jardin d’Hiver collection, the Mini Gardener Vest celebrates Manìn’s love for gardens, nature and childhood imagination. Inspired by the traditional gardening waistcoat, the cut is impeccable yet playful, with carefully divided tool pockets just like the real thing, ready to hold the treasures of small explorers. Books, shells, pencils, pinecones, chocolate, tiny notebooks, magic pebbles, fallen leaves, fairy keys and whatever their world dreams up can find a home here. At Manìn, every garment is crafted using natural, breathable fabrics — from soft Italian cottons to Liberty prints — and finished with delicate details like real mother-of-pearl buttons, selected one by one.

Treating your Manìn pieces with care helps preserve their beauty and craftsmanship, so they can be loved and passed down, again and again.

Washing Instructions

To keep your garments in excellent condition:

Hand wash or use a gentle cycle (max 30°C)
Use mild, eco-friendly detergents
Turn garments inside out before washing
Avoid bleach or aggressive stain removers
Use a medium-low spin cycle (max 800 rpm) to reduce stress on fibers and buttons
Wash delicate items inside a mesh laundry bag whenever possible

Note on buttons:
Our garments are finished with real mother-of-pearl buttons, natural and precious. Handle with care, and avoid rough spinning or direct friction during washing.

Drying

Never tumble dry.
Heat can weaken natural fibers and damage the delicate details.

Instead:

Gently reshape while damp
Air dry flat or on a hanger, in a shaded, well-ventilated place
Avoid direct sunlight, which may fade prints and alter fabric texture

Let them dry slowly and softly — just as they were made.

Everyday Tips

Use padded hangers to preserve shape
Fold knitwear to prevent stretching
Store with lavender sachets or cedar wood for protection and natural fragrance
Spot clean when possible — it saves water and keeps fabrics stronger for longer

Stain Removal

Life is for playing — here’s how to gently treat stains:

Grass: white vinegar + cold rinse
Fruit or juice: soak in cold water, then wash with Marseille soap
Grease: apply talc, let absorb, brush off, wash
Ink: gently blot with lemon juice before washing

Always blot — never rub — to avoid damaging the fibers.
